Mat allows fermentation in colder climates

My advice is to Plug in the mat and let it come to Default temp before adjusting the Set temp. We are in north ID, an hour from Canada and keep our home around 70 degrees or a little less. This mat allows me to set my starter at 10 degrees warmer and keep it consistent.

Idk if I got a faulty one but I can’t ever seem to set temp. It help heat the dough and get it to rise but it also make is stick to bowl!! Operator error? Bad dough? Faulty product?

Okay, some issues.

Difficult to set temperature, directions not clear as others have noted. Finally set to 84 degrees, but the food thermometer I placed under the mat while proofing my dough read 74 degrees after an hour of having set it to 84. After another hour it got up to 78. So good enough but not great.
