Solid and Sturdy Adjustable Bread Slicer for Even Slices

This LukieBoee Bread slicer is a useful tool for slicing homemade bread or store bought uncut loaves. I bought this after trying to slice my homemade sourdough loaves and getting uneven slices due to a crispy crust causing the knife to cut unevenly. This gadget resolves that issue by allowing me to cut between the bamboo guides to get even sized cuts. There are multiple thicknesses for thick or thin slices, and the guides can be adjusted for the width of the loaf - think baguette to sourdough rounds. The crumbs fall into a crumb tray for cleanup. The slicer itself is kind of large for storage but lies flat and can be put inna pantry or shelf. The material itself is bamboo so a serrated bread knife will mar the surface. It does not come with a knife so it is recommended to use a 10.5” knife to utilize the cutter correctly. The unit was a little pricy, but it is made solidly.

Adjustable!

This bread slicer works great! I like that it's adjustable for thicker slices. When I make French toast or garlic bread, I like the slices wider. Sometimes I buy store-bought French or Italian breads and some of them don't come sliced, so this is helpful as I like to store them in the freezer and just take out the pieces I need so as not to have moldy bread. Once a solid loaf is frozen, it's much harder to slice. This helps slicing before putting in the freezer, or helps to hold it safer if I've frozen it first. Great deal.
