Works really well, was easy to use. The size is large enough to proof a large loaf of bread. Very helpful during the winter months when your house may be on the colder side. Great value for money. Can adjust and change heat setting easily.
This mat works perfectly to help proof my doughs, sourdough, cinnamon rolls, sandwich bread, rolls, I also have used the mat to keep food warm during a party!!
GREAT PRODUCT. Only reason it's not 5 is because the temp is a couple degrees cooler than the reading BUT that tiny thing aside (I just set mine 2 degrees warmer and it's PERFECT) we keep our house pretty cold and couldn't get my starter to activate. Used this for a week and my starter is now flourishing. Haven't used it to proof bread yet but I'm sure once I figure out the temp it'll be a breeze as well! The mat is about the size of a standard microwave, a little longer and not quite as wide. The mat gets WARM I set the temp pretty high when I first got it, and you could absolutely use this for keeping food warm. The tent is slightly small than the mat itself which is a slight bummer, but covers enough of the mat that I don't think it's right to cry about. Overall GREAT product, easy to use, i saw review about the lack of instructions, believe me it's not hard to figure out. Turn it on set your temp and set your time and then it'll go from there.
Doesn’t seal well enough for the low heat it emits to heat up the bread. Really flimsy, doesn’t hold any useful shape top and the heating pad is barely above warm.
I am determined to make keto bread. This gadget is a game changer. It does a great job encouraging yeast to lift the heavy low carb doughs.
I saw this online and I’m so glad I bought ut. We have our house on the cooler side and this mat helps with the temperature! Very good material and easy to use. If you bake sourdough it’s the perfect addition to an easy process
The top doesn’t do well with covering all sides. So if you are trying to keep out the cold. It doesn’t help. Other than that it works ok.
