Bread slings
I just got back into baking and have fallen in love with the "no knead" breads that bake in a Dutch oven. These are perfect for me. I preheat the Dutch oven, then put the sling in the pot with parchment on top; drop in the dough and bake it off. I can easily remove the bread from the dutch oven safely. They withstand the 500 degree F oven temps and are dishwasher safe. Love these.

Good alternative to parchment
I like these slings for when I bake my sourdough and other rustic loaves in a preheated Dutch oven. They make it safer to place the proofed dough in the pot, and to remove it safely. I also prefer a reusable option over using parchment paper each time.

What an awesome tool!
I was so ready to retire the parchment paper and these did not disappoint! I used to go through so many rolls of parchment paper a month and these have changed it for me. No longer do I have to run to the store with a dough that is ready to place onto the parchment paper because I have ran out, not to talk about the money savings. I wish I would have had these from the start of my sourdough journey because they work so well. I also feel like they help my bottom crust be a bit softer than with parchment paper.

This bread sling is perfect for transferring dough into a hot Dutch oven and removing the finished loaf. The bottom of the loaf had a nice crisp to it (I was afraid it would be too soft), and it didn't stick at all. The silicone was easy to clean and had no issue being in a 460F oven.

Cool Product for Sourdough
This is very helpful for making sourdough. Because the oven is set so high, my parchment paper starts to burn. This solves that problem. Additionally, it makes putting the sourdough in and out of the hot dutch oven much easier. My only problems with the product is that the the traps got kind of stuck in my sourdough and I had to pull it out. Additionally, the strap are too thick to let hang out the tope, so they rest on top of the sourdough. This product helped prevent the bottom from burning which was great. It was very easy to clean

They work really well
I bake a lot of bread.It's fun to try new recipes, techniques, and tools when doing so.Recently, I have been using a cast iron cloche for baking, which often requires moving unbaked dough into a hot oven without a pan.Naturally, that makes a bread sling a great idea.In the past, I have tried completely flat bread slings, which worked to lift bread straight up and out, but they could be slippery and drop dough/bread if you move them too much side to side.This pair of slings looked very different to other bread movers I had seen, so I thought I would give them a try.Well lucky me because they far superior to any other bread sling I have tried.The ridges on the base of the sling and the U-shaped handles combine to give you excellent control when moving even a jiggly ball of raw dough.That you can leave the sling in place while it is baking makes this an all around great system for moving bread around during the baking process.I also appreciate that the handles are easy to hold onto, even with oven mitts/gloves on.That makes these straps ideal for moving hot or raw loaves.The only thing I will warn bread bakers about it the sling can deform your loaf a little.I did not care or even feel it was that noticeable; however, I know a perfectly symmetrical loaf can be a goal for some bakers and this sling interferes with that slightly.Again, most people won't notice, but if you need perfection, it might be a concern.Based on my experience using these slings, I enthusiastically recommend them.They are easy to use and make moving your loaves around a far less stressful process.Huge thumbs up from me.
