Its like the instructions are easy to understand. O recommend it
Work as expected.
I get great results. I can keep my sourdough very close to 80 F, albeit with a little thermometer probing while I learned what temp setting to use. The temperature setting is kinda like your car thermostat - the fahrenheit numbers are made up, and it puts out a very specific amount of heat, then you have to adjust it up and down to achieve what you want.In my house, the ambient air is 77 F, and setting the device to 70 F (the lowest setting!) results in a sourdough starter temp of 82 F. It's almost warm enough in here that I don't need it during the day. I also maintain a small amount of starter (80 grams), which probably means I need even less heat, so I'm admittedly pushing the bounds. Their decision to calibrate it at a "room temperature" of 60 F was an odd choice. But it's consistent, and it can be set sufficiently low for all scenarios. It could be nice if they included an ambient air temp sensor, to keep the starter closer to the set point. But I'm also happy to have this cheap, basic option. The timer works. The timer is also optional, which is nice. The manual explains that it can be run continuously when set to less than 80 F. Higher than that may "risk yeast burnout", so I don't know if it forcibly turns off or not.
Good seller
My daughter said it helped speed up the process
Does what it supposed to do!
