Worse gadget I’ve bought yet. Sealed four bags and the device refused to turn off. I went to the website to check for malfunctioning areas. Did all the procedures still light on green and humming. My husband finally dropped it on the floor, this thing was still going even smelled of burning parts. I hate it. He disassembled it to stop it.

One of two bags sucked in water while cooking.
You gotta press the vacuum tool on the valve button for about minute (with it running) BEFORE it starts sucking out the air. If the valve is in the hot water it can allow water to get sucked into the bag. I think the heat causes the valve to fail. Keep the valve above water level.
