Simple and Easy!
This little stainless steel Musubi Molded Kit is really neat. I had never heard of Musubi until I got this kit. After researching what it was and found out it was a Hawaiian Cuisine. I had to try it out. Nor have I ever heard of Roasted seaweed sheets to wrap your Cuisine and eat. It just sounded so inviting. I thought my first experience was not bad and the results of the meal were delicious. I thought gee whiz how you make Musubi? It was so exciting, and I could not wait to get started. I looked online at some recipes but most of the ingredients I did not have so I just created my own style of rice cakes. I first put together my creation of a sauce and added it to my stir fry of green beans and peas and carrots, Cabage, diced onions, eggs, and sesame seeds and bacon. I then cooked my rice and stirred in all the vegetable mixtures. Then I brought out my Musubi mold kit and stuffed all the rice mixture into it and it came out beautifully shaped and it was a smooth operation gliding out the mold. I then wrapped the cake up with seaweed sheet and top it off with a slice of maple syrup spam. Not bad for my first try and it was delicious. But I found out that I can have any size I want with this mold kit, and I do not have to stuff the molder all the way to the top and it will make many thick sizes of my rice cakes. I just must make sure I have rice that sticks together well. And usually that is what you would use to make rice cakes. I just used minute rice and it came out nice. I also found out that I could make two cakes or three smaller sizes cakes in the same molder by separating them. I just packed it into the molder on one side and added a little space in the molder and packed it in on the other side and wham two little cakes came out. Then I thought what if I had a piece of square tin or something else square and just placed it inside the molder to separate my cakes. Then I could have many little cakes. So, you see this molder has lots of potential to be creative. My spam already had the maple syrup on it in the can, so it was incredibly soft before trying out the slicer. Even as soft as the spam was the slicer cut genuinely nice square shapes and it was quick. The slicer works effectively and smoothly, and I found out that not only can I slice spam or ham and other soft foods I found out I can slice up strips of spam and even dice up spam or ham with this slicer and it worked effectively. I am sure I will eventually find more uses with the molder and slicer later. So, this slicer is a gift to explore the many wonders of enjoying your creativity in the kitchen and just a lot of fun with easy and smooth and quick operating of slicing, dicing and striping spam or ham and other soft foods like eggs, cheese, etc. And the molder is just so cool to make different shapes of rice cakes.
