The coolest most unique mug for the car people in your life!
I was beyond excited to get this for my husband, who has done autobody work for 15 years. He loves working on cars, whether it’s customer vehicles or our own, and he’s always super hard to shop for. I immediately fell in love with this mug when I saw it. It’s such a unique gift idea for a car person, and it’s very well crafted. After years of watching him work on cars, I recognized the part on the mug right away and just knew it was the perfect gift! At first, I was unsure what the metal inside the cup was made of since the description only mentioned resin. After checking the helper Rufus, I found out the inner lining is stainless steel, which put my worries to rest knowing it’s safe to drink from. However, I do wish that was clearly stated in the description. Another pleasant surprise was that it actually comes with the guitar spoon shown in the pictures. I originally assumed it was just for display in the pictures, so I was beyond excited to see it included. It’s a cute addition, and my husband has officially claimed it as his coffee stir spoon. The mug itself works great and keeps coffee hot for a long time. The longest I tested was about 1.5 hours, and it was still very warm. It’s a larger mug for sure, not very tall but wide, with a comfortable handle that’s easy to grip. It even fit perfectly in my sofa’s cup holder, though I can’t say it would fit all cup holders for sure. The mug is fairly heavy, especially when full, so we are extremely careful with it around the house. I do fear that if it was to fall, not only would it hurt if it fell on someone's foot, but it would most likely crack, chip, or shatter completely. But so far I have only hand washed it and so I can’t speak to its dishwasher safety. I only wish it came with a lid so my husband could take it to the shop and get a good laugh from his coworkers, but for an at home mug, it’s still fantastic. While it may seem pricey for a mug, it’s such a unique and thoughtful gift for car lovers that it’s well worth it.
