Very Misleading Description! False Advertising!

Although the mug is beautiful it is not worth $16.99. The photo shows 3 mugs. Had it shown a front and a back, I would have assumed it was a single mug. The ad clearly says mugs. I thought when the package arrived there would be three mugs as shown and the plural mugs instead of mug. I returned the item and the clerk said pieces were missing and it would not happen again. I ordered another mug and to my surprise, there was only one mug again with the same plural photo and description. Not good!!!

Wonderfully Crafted Mug!

My wife and I got this mug for our son's speech therapy teacher. Glad to report it was well packaged as it was bubble wrapped and then stored in a small brown box which came inside a larger brown shipping box. We absolutely love this mug as it's just as described. The wording and decorations are wonderfully done and the colors are equally nice albeit slightly muted in terms of color saturation when compared to the product pics. This however doesn't deter us from loving this mug and the message it will convey. The finish on the inside rim, handle and overall exterior of the mug were pristine. I can't recommend this teacher appreciation gift enough as it's well executed.

Love the expressions, but quality is a little bit lacking

This is a pretty nice mug. It is both useful and thematic, and in theory it should make a good gift for an SLP. I am sure there is more demand for such gifts since in recent years we've seen huge growth in their numbers and availability, as also in the need for their services. I quite like the company's choice of expressions, namely, 'Your words matter,' and 'I teach kids to talk back.' One is heartfelt, the other humorous; one addressed to the child, the other to adults. Both are highly appropriate for a speech therapist, but as the title mentions, I found the quality of the mug to be lacking in a couple of small ways, which you may want to know as you're making your decision.1) The colors of the design are more muted in life than the product listing suggests. In fact, I actually found myself squinting a bit as I was reading the mug, because the pale colors of the print don't offer much contrast with the pale background color.2) On mine, part of the design seems to be off-center. When I grasp the handle with my right hand, the words 'I teach kids to talk back,' look fine. Then as I rotate the cup in my hand, the words 'Speech therapy' appear, going downward like the title on the spine of a book, but here's where I started to notice a problem. There's more space after (that is, to the left of) these words than there is before, on the right. And as I complete the rotation, the so-important message that 'Your words matter' is pushed off center, and is right up against the handle. For a left-handed person, or anyone who picks up their drink with that hand, the side of the mug facing the user is not symmetrical. Depending on the user, this could be something they don't even notice, or it could irk them every time. To be fair, I don't recall anyone else mentioning this problem, so perhaps I just got unlucky. Regardless, mine is plainly off, and in my mind, is fine for me, but I wouldn't feel comfortable giving it as a gift.I don't consider either of these a total deal-breaker, and my rating reflects that, but I definitely thought they were worth mentioning. If these points don't phase you at all, then I would say that you may order with confidence, but I wouldn't want you to pick this without knowing what to expect. I'll say 3.5 stars.
