a wonderfully, well designed spatula.Love the red, eazy to spot in the oven drawer.Covers my 8" pan and a good portion of my 14" pan.The handal allows the spatula to rest the width of the large pan.
Lightweight and folds for easy storage. Reasonable price point. Wish it came in green.
This is a great concept for a splatterguard. Silicone, foldable in half and with a foldable handle for easy storage, attractive color, what's not to like?The size. Despite promises, it doesn't quite fit a 12-inch pan, or at least not my 12-inch pan (Calphalon). That makes it pretty much useless to me. Its going back for a bigger size.
Love this collapsible splatter screen. It’s made of silicone and washes up nice. Got one for my daughter who loves it too.
This is almost a fantastic product. The silicon material is very versatile and less susceptible to an accidental touch resulting in a finger burn that you might get with steel or aluminum versions of a splatter screen. It stores away nicely with clever folding options. However, the folding option on top of a hot skillet doesn't work all that well. At the very least you need tongs or mittens to maneuver the foldable part and that doesn't work so well. I'm not sure how that design flaw could be solved. Other than improved storage, it's fairly useless in that regard. I think I would rather have a non-folding screen that didn't seem so flimsy, but I could still use it as a flat trivet
I grew up with the bacon screen which was fine as I remember it. Thought I would try this since it stores handily. Works as expected and easy to clean.
