I am really enjoying this porcelain spoon rest. I have wanted one for a long time but could not find one I liked. I love it that it isn't too long, so it can save on space. But at the same time it is wide, so can hold several cooking utensils. I love the colors and pattern and is visually pleasing to me. It round area is flatter with a little ridge, so it is designed well, because the utensils will not slip off. On the back it has little pictures that seem to indicate that it is safe for oven, microwave and dishwasher. So, I put a little food on it and put it in the microwave for one minute. I ran it through a dishwasher cycle. And I put it with food on it into the toaster over for 10 minutes at 360 degrees. It did fine with all of that. However, I do not see any specific instructions included regarding heating it, so I may not do the oven or microwave more than those time and heat levels ,just to be safe.

Durable, large porcelain spoon rest, with printed bohemian design
Finally, the perfect size spoon rest! This is large, 5 1/2” wide, 7 3/4” long, and can hold the largest of utensils. It’s much more than a spoon rest, it can be used as a serving dish, a drip tray, etc. This is a generous sized, brightly colored, ceramic dish with handle. It is porcelain, so it’s heat resistant, durable, and easy to clean. It has a printed bohemian design, smooth glaze, and a beaded rim. I ordered the green, it’s a dark Kelly green with blue and orange accents. It isn’t hand painted, but it looks lovely. This is one of those things that will last the test of time, definitely worth the price listed.

Finally — A Spoon Rest That’s Actually Large Enough
This 7.7-inch ceramic spoon rest is exceptionally well made. The ceramic is sturdy, the paintwork is beautifully done, and the Bohemian colors look great on the countertop.
