This item performed better than I expected. The set looks beautiful on my counter top, the knives are well constructed with great balance and the blades are sharp. Great for cutting and trimming meats and vegetables.
I have not had to use them very much but so far the knives are very sharp and have a nice weight and balance to them. Plus they are very beautiful. One of the best things my husband has gotten for me for in the kitchen. And the block they come with is not you yucky old wood either. It is very sleek and has beautifully labeled storage slots. Putting them away is so easy as everything on the block is labeled and they are not all jammed together like in some knife blocks.

These are really nice knives! They are amazingly sharp, and they sharpen up very nicely! I love the wide variety of knives. It seems like there are many options definitely one for every job. They are beautifully weighted and sized their functionally very useful. However, I took away a star because I think they are overpriced. I don’t know what I expected for $180 but I just think they should have been closer to $100 or $120. They do sharpen well, but they did dull faster than I would have expected and once I resharpened one, it seemed like it needed to be done after each use.Decent knives, just not worth almost $200.

This set is stellar. Did not realize how worn out and outdated my knives were. I had a clue though. I thought time for decent knives……since I am 79 years old…..I deserve it. If you are older with aches and pains in your hands and wrists…..these r fab……I just cut up a head of cabbage and it was going through butter…..so worth it!
