Makes cookie baking fun again!

I make Spritz cookies every year for Christmas. Spritz cookies, if you didn’t know, are butter cookies that are made using a cookie press or gun to make shapes and then bake. I’ve made them using a press since I was a kid- until this past year, when I had surgery and had my left thumb fused. I was unable to use the press anymore because you need 2 working hands to work the press. So I got this cookie gun instead. It loads the cookie dough the same, and it has discs with patterns like the press did, but instead of twisting the press to get the dough to advance through the disc and make the pattern, you simply squeeze the handle on the cookie gun and the dough advances through the gun to make the pattern. You can make cookies, churros, deviled eggs, or use the gun to pipe decorations onto cupcakes, cakes, or many other uses. There are 13 discs, 8 piping tips, and 2 brushes for cleaning. The gun and accessories are made of stainless steel and are hand washable. Great way to personalize cakes and cookies for your friends and family!

Very cheaply made. Handle lever was angled crooked & hit the side & the plunger would not work properly when filled with cookie dough. I needed to squeeze the handle ten or more times before it would catch a little & then it only pushed out a mere 16th of an inch. Not happy with it at all.

This cookie gun is much like one I had in the past. There are several discs included, many that I haven't ever seen before. It was fun to make some new shapes. The gun is fairly easy to use, although filling the tube with dough is always a challenge. It cleaned up easily. It seems well made. The only negative I have is the amount of dough that comes out each time you click it. One click is not quite enough, 2 clicks is too much.
