nonslip edging makes this stainless steel cutting board safer than plain metal cutting boards
This is my third try with a metal cutting board. I am trying to switch from plastic to healthier materials for my cutting boards. My first try was a set of metal butting boards with not trim, just plain metal. I hated them. They were heavy and super thin, like so thin I was worried what would happen if I dropped it on my toe. They also slipped all around when I was using them. My second try was a bamboo and metal combo. This one was great, but not dishwasher safe. So, when I saw this one, I was excited to give it a try.I love it. It has some heft, but not so heavy that it makes it hard to use, instead just enough to keep it in place. The big difference is the silicone edging. It makes it easier to hold and safer than the sharp edges of a plain metal cutting board. It of course keeps it from slipping around when I am using it. It also keeps juices contained. The raised edge causes a little issue if you need to get your knife flat right at the edge of the board, but it just takes a minute to adjust to positioning whatever you are cutting so that isn’t an issue. I was worried that the silicone edging would just be kind of fitted on but wouldn’t be attached. But somehow, they have it is adhered so that juice and such won’t get stuck between the metal and silicone. If you want to be nitpicky, the title says it is 14 inches by 10 inches and the description says it is 15 inches by 11 inches. It is actually just under 10 inches by just over 14 inches. For me it’s a perfect size.I like that the board is double sided, but I love, love, love that it is dishwasher safe! I love being able to toss it in with my dirty dishes and having it come out clean and sanitized.Overall, this is an awesome cutting board. Just the right size, hefty but not too heavy, easy to clean and use – and so much safer than plain metal cutting boards that don’t have the silicone edging. The only issue I have is the price. It seems a bit pricey for what it is. Certainly, this is a quality cutting board, it is nicely made but at the time of this review its more than I'd want to pay. So, it’s a good board, but to me it’s just an okay value. I’ll definitely be stalking it for a sale if I need a second one, but I think it will be a long time before I need another one. This guy feels like it will last a while.

Durable, Hygienic, and Easy to Clean
I’m really impressed with the PUQITEN Stainless Steel Cutting Board. The 304 stainless steel feels solid and high-quality, and I love how hygienic it is compared to traditional wood or plastic boards. It doesn’t absorb odors, stains, or moisture, which is a huge plus. The silicone edge is a great feature—it keeps the board from slipping around on the counter while I’m cutting, and it feels secure even when working with heavier ingredients. I also appreciate the double-sided design, which makes it easy to separate foods like raw meat and vegetables.Cleanup couldn’t be easier. I can rinse it off quickly or just put it straight into the dishwasher, and it comes out looking brand new every time. It’s sleek, modern, and incredibly practical for everyday cooking. If you’re looking for a cutting board that’s durable, sanitary, and low-maintenance, this one is a great choice. Highly recommend!

My Kitchen's Newest Shiny Workhorse
Alright, I'll admit it: my first thought was, "A metal cutting board? Isn't that what ruins knives?" I was picturing a horrible screeching sound and a trip to the knife sharpener. But the promise of something that wouldn't stain from beet juice or smell like garlic forever was too tempting.I'm happy to report my knives are just fine, and my kitchen life just got a whole lot simpler. This thing is a hygienic powerhouse. I use one side for raw chicken, flip it over for my veggies, and then just toss it in the dishwasher. No more paranoid scrubbing of grooved plastic boards. The non-slip silicone edges actually work, holding it firmly on my countertop even when I'm aggressively chopping herbs. It feels incredibly solid and well-made. My only lingering question is how the silicone edges will hold up after a few hundred dishwasher cycles, but so far, they look brand new. Here's my personal breakdown:What I'm loving:· The cleanup is a dream. No more odors, no more stains. The dishwasher makes it spotless and sanitized.· It feels incredibly sturdy and doesn't slide around, which makes prepping feel safer.· The double-sided design is genius for keeping raw and ready-to-eat foods completely separate. What gave me pause:· There is a different sound when chopping—a soft clink instead of a thud—that took a little getting used to.· While it's gentle on knives, I wouldn't use it with my super-fancy, ultra-thin chef's knife; I save that for my wood board. If you're tired of stained, smelly plastic boards and want something indestructible and incredibly easy to clean, this stainless steel board is a fantastic upgrade. It's turned a daily chore into something that feels a bit more sleek and scientific.

Sanitary and non-toxic, uncomfortable to use
This metal cutting board is well made and is a great alternative to plastic boards, as it is more hygienic and non-toxic. I love that it has two fully functional sides and can go in the dishwasher! The non-slip edge works well to prevent any sliding during use.The downside is that the cutting board is not very comfortable to use while chopping, due to the slick surface. The metal of the knife against the metal of the board creates an unpleasant tactile sensation, which I find slows me down quite a bit.I appreciate how sanitary the metal is compared to plastic or wood, and will continue to use it for chopping meat, as it should work very well for that purpose. Unfortunately, it just is not comfortable enough for me to use as my main cutting board.
