An outstanding solution for making cappuccino at home. I can confirm that espresso and cappuccino out of my machine, set at its hottest temperature, stay hot during consumption. The outside of the cup remains warm and comfortable to hold throughout. The cups look great; the dimpled texture and matte finish are what sold me. I didn't want bright, shiny stainless steel. The 6 oz. capacity is my ideal size for a cappuccino.Stoneware or porcelain cups would shock my hot drinks into colder temps, unless I took the step of preheating them, a pain while staggering about half-asleep in the morning. Double-walled glass cups performed better, but they eventually broke in my dishwasher, or their bottom plugs failed.

Perfect light-insulating, durable steel double espresso cup
I was skeptical about this cup. I thought it would impart an unpleasant metalic taste to my morning coffee. But it doesn't! And the thin double-layered steel insulates well enough to keep a large espresso cup (around 5-oz) hot for up to 10-minutes. The design is handsome, too--reminds me of the hammered Japanese tetsubins. Perfect size. I had 2.5-oz stainless steel espresso cups that are perfect for a single espresso, but this cup is great for a double espresso or a half-cup of strong coffee. Came in a sturdy, recyclable cardboard box. LOVE IT.
