Fits well and works good. Stainless steel so I can run it through the dishwasher
Absolutely perfect. Replacing a replcement paddle that I purchased. That one, although I gave them the mixer model number, was quite right. It banged on the sides a little and just after two months started to chip. This one is stailess steel and rotates perfectly on my ixing bowl. I have had this Kitchen Aid Mixer as a Christmas gift from my husband since 1998.
I have a Kitchenaid 6qt Bowl Lift Stand Mixer and this beater is almost perfect. A tad smaller than the original enameled clad beater, so I may have to do a few additional scrapes around the bowl during use, but the end result makes me smile every time. Like everyone has experienced, the Kitchenaid enameled beaters chip badly so I had been looking for a stainless steel one that could possibly fit. I did not have to make any adjustments to the bowl height either. If you are on the fence, take the jump!
Strong, and impervious to degradation that the OEM has where the coating bubbles up and flakes off into your food. Fit perfectly on my Kitchenaid stand mixer.
Fits our 6 quart Kitchenaid well. Had to replace original due to dishwasher issue. Stainless seems good so far. Finish is not fully polished but not a big issue. Feels like it should be very durable. Solid.
Great fit and works wonderfully!
I was hoping for two key items for my 25 year old KitchenAid HD mixer. One - a replacement blade that has the same width and depth (same blade clearance from the side and bottom of the mixing bowl). Two - stainless steel to eliminate the potential of a flaking enamel. The new blade width is slightly narrower and about 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch shorter than the original. The difference in length has to do with the notch (see pen pointing to the notch in the photo which is equivalent to the shorter length). I aligned the two blades to show the difference in length and width. The original blade already requires a little scraping of food from the bottom to get it incorporated into the rest of the batter. This one will leave a bit more unmixed food at the bottom of the bowl for some batters. The stainless blade also looks like it is stamped steel as the blade has slightly rough edges. They are not rounded like the original. I might keep it, as it might be adequate, but it's not going to do a great job at mixing at the bottom of the bowl for denser sticky batters such as combining dry ingredients into sticky banana bread wet ingredients. The height of the stainless blade is taller than the original.
