Great pans and value.

I've been using the pans for several weeks now and they've been great to use. There is a little bit of a learning curve concerning the temperature. Don't use the same temperature as you would with an aluminum pan. For me I found out the pans hold the heat way better than aluminum pans and don't require as high of a heat setting. They also heat very evenly across the bottoms. Also the middles haven't bowed up on the bottoms, I hate pans that do that. I do use a table spoon or two of bacon grease when frying eggs. They are slicker than snot and super easy to clean. The lids pit perfectly and the pans are very well made. They have a quality that even as an old man I can appreciate.

Great value, even heating, cleans beautifully!

I love this pan!! I’ve tried a few others, but this one has been the best! I am able to cook on my electric stove at 2!! The pan evenly heats up, and heats up quickly! I was shocked that medium heat was even too hot! So it is nice not to have to cook on a higher heat! It has been the best pan! It cleans up easily with a soapy sponge, no elbow grease needed! Truly a beautiful pan that certainly is well worth the price!

Didn't Pass The Egg Test

There are new pans coming out every day. From diamond coated to copper infused and topped, each new manufacturer tries to top all the others with their unique spin on their marketing materials. There are a few really important things in the manufacture and sale of pots and pans. For me, over temp of up to 800 degrees, riveted handles, single piece bases and a guarantee are equally important. Poor quality cookware fall short in oven temps to 500, some even to 350 degrees; poor handles or laminated bottoms. Each have their quirks. And I will say I have tested most of them.I need a pan that I can sear a steak in at high temp, then place it in the oven or under the broiler at full blast. I did not see an oven temp rating for this pan, that's not good. I will not attempt to broil a steak in it.The pan had to be assembled when I received it. The handle is nicely shaped - the shining star of the whole thing. But the handle had to be bolted on, the handle for the lid had to be bolted on - both by me. No rivets. All this cheapness aside I decided to do the egg test. A single fried egg. Medium heat, warmed to temp. I drop the egg in and let it cook away. It stuck miserably. Yes, the ads and description says use a little oil, but if you are advertising as a super duper ceramic coated egg pan then that egg better not stick at all.I used a standard amount of oil and got the egg to loosen up. I swirled the egg around in the pan and as soon as the egg went up the sides and away from the oil, it stuck again. I do not use cooking sprays as they leave a coating that makes your non stick pans, sticky. Yes, I know omelete and pasta bars use spray as the chef cooks in front of you. But they also go through pans when those tools stop giving them the quality results they need. The coating in these pans may work when cooking liquid based items (fettucine alfredo) but it's not my egg pan. My Cuisinart pans far outperform this pan.

Substantial Skillet In a Versatile Size

Disclaimer: I received this item for free as part of the Amazon Vine program, but my top priority is to provide an honest and unbiased review. I will highlight both the positive and negative aspects of the product, based on my personal experience. The thing that struck me the most about this skillet upon receiving it was how "substantial" it felt. It's got some heft. This does not feel like one of those cheaply made, thin skillets that warp after moderate use. I wouldn't call it heavy, but if you are looking for a thin, light skillet, this probably isn't a good fit for you.Once unpacked from the shipping box, you need to assemble the lid handle and the skillet handle. Very, very simple task here...just a matter of twisting and tightening a few screws on both. Hardware and two tools come with the skillet. It will take only a few minutes, and once washed (I always wash cookware before first use), you'll be ready to cook. The lid is glass, and has a vent hole. The lid handle remains warm during cooking. When I made chili in it, it was warm to the touch, not burning hot. The skillet handle is very cool to the touch while cooking, and feels great in the hand. It's comfortable to hold, being rounded. Plenty to grab onto.I cooked some eggs this morning (on my gas stove), as I always do for breakfast, and it was a good cooking experience. Nothing out of the ordinary. I buttered the skillet, it heated up quickly, and I had no issues. Cleanup was a breeze as well.I can't comment on longevity because I only received it recently, but if something noteworthy comes up, I'll update my review. In the meantime, if you're considering this skillet, check out the photos I've included, and I would definitely consider this one. - Michael

Cheaply made!

Cheaply made. Handle screws won’t hold and handle is loose.
