The silicone ice trays don’t compare. These classics came with a new refrigerator back in the day. These stainless steel trays seem to work better. Our automatic ice maker is on the blink—we got tired of messing with the flimsy silicone trays. These are easier to stack and remove the ice.

I like to make my ice in a metal tray instead of I’m plastic. Works great.
I'm happy that they're stainless steel. The lid could have been made much better to make it come off a lot easier. Currently I have to take a fork to it and turn it upside down. Lastly the price is RIDICULOUS. This price actually makes me MAD.The highway-robbery price and the ill-made lid are why this product has earned three stars. I would not have purchased this with this RIDICULOUS PRICE but for the fact that there is currently no alternative for steel trays with lids.
