I have tried too many different ice tongs that just don't work. They are all too short, don't open wide enough, or don't grip the ice. These Lersaisfany are the perfect solution - the first tongs that I found to actually work reliably! They are stainless so they hold up to frequent use and are easy to keep clean. They are long enough to reach into an ice bucket. The tongs open wide enough to grab large cube and grip the cubes with ease.
Finally, people aren't sticking their hands in the freezer ice bucket to grab ice. Totally worth it. It is smaller than I expected, but it grabs the ice that my freezer makes just fine. The addition of the suction cup hanger is handy.
