These should not be used for turning heavier food items as they are designed for light duty. However, for that purpose these are very nice and include plasticized handles and fairly good grip at the working end. The supplied range of sizes allows one to select an appropriate tool for a given job.
Perfect sizes and they work great.

These are much better than I expected. I only needed 1 of them but after seeing how good they are, I tossed out my old ones and started using these. Built much better than my old ones.

I had a tongs very similar to this that was one of my favorites and it disappeared. I'm assuming I took it along for serving at a function and didn't get it back. Anyway I really missed having it so when I saw this set of three very similar styled tongs I definitely wanted to try them out. Happily they work very much like my old favorite tongs did. The small and medium sized tongs are very nice and work well for me. The largest sized tongs must have a twist or something wrong as the two ends don't fully seat together when the tongs is closed. The pictures of how it fits is after I bent it into shape as much as I could which isn't perfect but is much better than how it was.Overall I'm pretty pleased with these tongs and I consider them to be a fair value.
