A TANK of a lunch box
I have bought many lunch boxes over the years. More recently, I have only been buying metal or silicone boxes for their lower impact on the environment and because they last longer over their glass and stoneware counterparts. I even bought a lunch box that looked almost exactly like this one but oh, it was not at all the same. I returned that one because even though it was also made of stainless it didn't look like it would withstand a kid dropping it without getting ugly dings and dents. This one looks like it could take a hammer to it and return a smile (but I don't advocate you try that :)This lunch box was made to outlast any other out there, whether a brand name or generic one, all of which seem to be made of the thinnest stainless sheet possible. This thing, on the other hand, is HEAVY. Almost 800gr/28oz heavy (apologies for the blurry pic). For that reason, I would not recommend it for a small kid. This was made for a high schooler or above, an adult male or female, who might be able to carry its weight plus contents. It is also BUILT like a tank. Others have plastic hinges or what look like hingers held together with chewing gum. This one's hinges... I'm not sure how they are helt together, you can judge by yourself looking at the picture in this review, but it looks sturdy to me. It does have a plastic latch lock, one of the only negatives (see below) I can find in this otherwise perfect product. Hopefully the video conveys the thickness of the material. The interior is deceivingly roomy, too. It would hold a large lunch for an older child or small female, or a "portion control" lunch for a larger adult. I love the compartments and the fact everything is kept in place and separated by the silicone cover, which provides additional storage space due to their own 1/2" deep cavities. So for instance if you have pretzels or grapes or anything above the edge of the (1" deep) compartment, they won't get squished like with other boxes with flat lids.Don't go by the description pictures though. One shows a sandwich and the separate silicone container next to it, all in the largest compartment. That picture is MISLEADING as you can only fit a small sandwich by itself, as pictured. That is a slice of Dave's KB in the largest compartment and nothing else. And speaking of the silicone lid insert, it is NOT easy to remove, which is a GREAT feature in my book. You know you won't end up with a sheet of silicone on top of your food when you open the box. However it IS removable, so you can clean nooks and crannies with ease.Another negative, which might be a deal breaker to some, is that the box is NOT water tight. I poured water in the largest compartment, locked the box and tilted it over and it definitely leaked. A lot. So this would not work for soup (that might have gone without saying?) or other liquids but I feel it would work well with a stew if the box is kept upright (I wish I had some to test that theory!)Because the metal used is so thick, it should keep food fairly warm for a while if kept in an insulated bag.Despite the slight negatives above, I am so glad I got this lunch box. If I had a need to get another one I would GLADLY spend the listed price to get it. It is no doubt one of the best products I've got on Amazon in a long time

High‑Quality Lunch Box with a Premium Feel
This stainless steel lunch box feels very well made, and the overall quality stands out right away. The compartments are thoughtfully divided, which makes it easy to pack a balanced meal without everything mixing together. I also really like that it’s leak resistant and dishwasher safe, because it keeps cleanup simple and gives some peace of mind when packing foods with sauces or moisture. The removable silicone container is a nice touch for anything you want to keep completely separate. The only thing that gave me pause is the $50 price tag. Even though the materials and construction feel durable, it still feels a bit high for a lunch box (though that may just be because I’m used to basic plastic containers). For someone who wants a long‑lasting, stainless steel option, the quality is definitely there, but the cost might be something to consider.Overall, it’s a sturdy, well‑designed lunch box that works for both kids and adults, and it’s great for anyone looking to upgrade to something more durable and organized.

Great versatile temp controlled lunch box
I am so pleased with this lunch box. The stainless steel keeps the temp of the food however you want it- hot or cold. It can also be put in the freezer if anything needs to be extra cold for serving. There is a removable silicone layer in between the top and bottom stainless steal. The silicone layer is not flimsy and can be used as a plate in the microwave if anything needs to be heated up - obviously the stainless steel can’t go in the microwave, but all of the lunchbox can go in the dishwasher making it easy to clean up. 5 compartments is a lot unless you work a long shift like I do then it has extra areas for temp controlled snacks if needed. It makes a great meal prep container as the temp control and separate compartments keep the food fresh for a few days. The compartments are not spill proof so if you put liqueds in one of the compartments it’s gonna go everywhere-this is a lunchbox for solid food only. Everything about the lunchbox is sturdy and well made. The quality is worth what I payed for it. I’m so happy I got it and may get a few more for meal prep!

Durable and easy to clean
This is a really solid lunchbox option if you’re looking for something stainless steel with multiple compartments. The silicone lid seal works great to keep everything fresh and contained, and the whole thing comes apart and reassembles super easily for cleaning.I threw a fork and knife in the picture for scale so you can get a feel for the size. It’s decently roomy without being bulky, perfect for packing a full lunch with sides separated. The clasping mechanism is straightforward and secure, no fiddling or worrying about it popping open in my bag. I like that it includes the little rubber/silicone condiment container too, makes it easy to store saucy or liquidy stuff like dressings or yogurt without mess. I’d probably stick to thicker things like ketchup or hummus in it though, nothing as runny as water or thin soup. The metal feels durable and not super thin at all, which gives me confidence it’ll hold up well over time and not dent easily from daily use. Just keep in mind it’s not microwave-safe, so if you’re taking leftovers that need reheating, you’ll have to transfer them or plan ahead.

It is very very nice quality.. which it better be for that price.
I pack lunch everyday for work and this works great. Seals up good. Deep deep tray. Looks like a kid thing, but Definitely good for adults. Holds a lot of good. Got some weight to it. Think gauged steel. Good silicone for a really good seal.. I can have this full of food and toss this in my cooler backpack with zero concern. I am a bit surprised on the price.. but I will say, this is pretty great quality. And if it was only microwave safe, that would be amazing!
