I wish the lid wasnt designed for just a kid, but it works functionally and doesn't contain any plastic, nor plastic hinges that break like they did on my other stainless that had a container and lid it sat in that were plastic.
Like it but it’s not easy for my child to put the cover back on
I am impressed with the design and quality. The metal is thick but not heavy, rounded and smooth, and sturdy. I accidentally dropped the squared container on a concrete floor and it didn't dent! The small rpund container is great for condiments. The squared container fits baby carrots, grapes, and other small or chopped fresh fruit and veg nicely. The large divided container wouldn't be suitable for bread based sandwiches, but is perfect for deli meats, chopped chicken, shredded or ground beef, etc and things like stick pretzels, cheese cubes, and sliced strawberries and nuts. I would use one of the smaller containers for something like applesauce as even though the divisions are accounted for with imprints on the underside of the lid for each one, it doesn't seem like it would keep anything too watery from the other foods. HOWEVER the lids are themselves leak-proof (I tested with water).Please see my picture where I demonstrate the height with my thumb. This container set is suitable for younger kids if you are counting on it to hold all their food. Most folks use insulated lunch bags for their kiddos so this isn't a problem as you can always pack extra pre-packaged foods or fruits like apples into their bag. This is suitable for my 11 year old or my 8 year old. It is nice to find something that works and is easy to use!
I wanted to like it but don’t.1) lid is not bad for adults, but definitely not for kids to open and close2) the size barely fits in kid lunch box3) needs to be place upright at all times or contents inside get mixed all around.
The stainless steel material feels sturdy and safe, and I like that it’s eco-friendly and BPA free. The compartments are useful for separating different foods, and the size is practical for kids. It is dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning easy. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the lid can be a little tricky to close tightly at times. Overall, it’s a solid product and works well for everyday use.
This is a very nice, well built set of containers. All of the containers are made of stainless steel and the lids are silicone. All of the materials used appear to be top notch. The steel is thick and feels durable. The silicone is also thick and doesn't feel like it will tear or rip. The lids are an excellent fit and have a tight seal. It is for this reason they are a tad harder to put on than some other similar container lids we've had.The capacity on these is good and I like that there are three different sizes included. The large container compartments easily fit cut up sandwiches or plenty of fruits and veggies. The small container is perfect for sauces or condiments. It fits inside the large container even when it is closed. The medium sized container does NOT fit into the large container when it is closed. I was a little disappointed to see that it was too tall.The color of the lids is so pretty and the designs on the tops are also very attractive. This is a lovely set and is a great value for the money.
This is a sizeable stainless steel container that we use often. I liked it but like any product, it has its pros and cons.Size: I would say this is a medium sized container compared to common ones out there. The sizes of the supplementary containers worked quite well for my purposes.Design: I like the design of the 4 equal pockets of foods. The design pattern on the silicone were cute and playful. I wish it came with something else for the seal.Ease of Opening: each part was very easy to open for a toddler. Putting it back is harder for a young kid.Leakproof: it is not leakproof. It’s easy for the silicone to come off so I would wrap it extra before transport. This style of container is not known to be leak proof anyway.Durability: I would say this is pretty durable from the stainless steel component. So is the silicone.Value for Money: this was a good value for me because I wanted stainless steel containers for my kids. We try to avoid plastics as much as possible.Overall, this was a decent item and we were happy with it.
