It's sturdy, it's sleek, the clamp is a joke. I say buy it anyway.

Sturdy looking gizmo. Comes with sleek lines and some style. Will probably do a good job, the handle turns easy enough. Haven't used it yet. The clamp part looks like it won't hold anything in place, lucky for me I got a real heavy vice made of pure iron from the good old days, that will hold this thing in place. Unlucky for me the vice is so heavy it will probably destroy the table top on the island in the kitchen. But lucky for me, I bought some silicone pads to roll dough on, unlucky for me they may get ripped apart by the heavy vice. So on the whole, yeah, maybe not such a great idea. Holding it in place will be a little chore, especially if I end up working alone (which I know I will), but maybe I can throw my body over it and roll the dough through...With my luck I'll get my shirt stuck in the thing and roll myself right through it, like Daffy Duck or Wiley Coyote. Look, the little machine looks good, it looks like it would work, but the major drawback is the holding it in place. And I know myself, I'll end up either using too little pressure and the thing will wobble on the table, or I'll use too much and have it fly across the room and into the pots rack. The value seems good, regardless. I didn't want to drop $100 + dollars on the Italian model that's all the rage. It looks like a mini nightmare to clean, and then I'll have to oil with with olive oil, and that eventually will get more gunk in it, so I'll end up having to throw the whole thing in a pot to boil out the gunk, and then the machine may rust so yeah, I'm driving myself nuts just thinking too much. I'll be happy if I can make some lasagna sheets and some ravioli sheets. I'll cross the cleaning bridge when I get there. If I stumble across some cool tips I'll review the review.Enough of this back and forth. The price was doable, and the gizmo looks good. So I'd recommend its purchase. There is no way around this one, they are all the same machines. Some just have fancier names.

I love my pasta maker!!!

This noodle maker is awesome there's lots of different settings I posted a video of me using it The only thing that kind of stinks is you have to have a second person to help hold it down while you're rolling it out of there I tried to connect it to my counter with a little vise grip thing but if you don't have the right counter ledge it will not work I also tried to connect it to my cutting board it just doesn't act right there but aside from that it is awesome I'm in love with it and the price is amazing as well!

Stainless Steel Manual Noodle Maker

This pasta machine feels sturdy and works well for basic homemade noodles. The crank turns smoothly once you get the dough consistency right, and the 2mm/4mm cutters give you a nice variety for thinner noodles vs. wider cuts. It’s a fun kitchen project and definitely beats rolling everything by hand. The stainless steel finish also makes it look nicer on the counter than the super-cheap plastic ones. The learning curve is mostly about dough hydration—too wet and it sticks, too dry and it cracks. Cleaning is manageable, but I recommend letting any dough bits dry first and brushing them out rather than using a ton of water. The clamp holds well on most counters, though you may want a towel underneath to protect surfaces. Great value if you want to make noodles occasionally without buying an expensive machine.
