Good Looking, Solid, Functional, Pro Features -- A Winner
Very nice quality. These are *not* flimsey or cheaply finished as many such things are these days. Solid stainless steel pans, hefty with a good shine and no sharp edges The see-through pan lids are heavy duty and substantial in the hand., with a nice seal and a steam vent. The pan legs and heat-source are all solid. The only small negative is there is a bit of assembly -- but the end result is well worth it. The fact that it is a set of four means that you can keep an entire small meal warm for buffet serice , or maybe just many side dishes. Or get two sets. Worth it!.BTW the set includes four deep *and* four shallower pans. The deep pan can be set on the fire partly filled with water; the flame heats the water which distributes the heat to the food more evenly -- a nice pro feature. Alternatively, without fire, the lower pan can be filled with crushed ice, keeping items cool. Or left empty. Or without fire or ice used as a deeper serving pan. The lid rack is optional to use, and lifts easliy on and off the dish. The lid rack can also be used to attach a card or label to display behind and over the item.PRO TIP:1. Assemble each pan set completely before starting the next one. The complete set of required hardware for each set is individually bagged, with a tiny screwdriver and wrench in each bag.2. Take the blue plastic off the legs before assembly -- if not you will need to take everything apart to get it all gone. The plastic can be started with a fingernail or strong rubbing. It does come off in pieces, but can be restarted as noted.
