Fits a Bowl lift KitchenAid.

I had to return a previous replacement paddle but this one works great. I have a heavy duty 6 qt KitchenAid with a bowl lift (not a tilt head). It fit snugly and was a bit longer but that is a positive because it was able to reach the bottom ingredients. Stainless steel blades clean easily and were very effective.

Exactly what I needed

I had an impossible time finding a coated paddle attachment for my kitchenaid mixer. First, I searched the kitchaid site but putting the model number (kp26m9x) into their search resulted in dishwasher parts. Then I searched Amazon and nothing matching my model number came up so ended up searching by mixer size (6 quart) which is how I found this one. Still skeptical, I ordered it anyway and was thrilled when I received it and it was the exact size of my ruined paddle. They really mean it when they say not dishwasher safe. Thankfully, the coated one is dishwasher safe and easier to keep clean. I’ve used it for both mixing cookie dough and for shredding chicken. Very happy with with this purchase.

Will need to scrape a LOT

I have an older 6qt professional mixer that has gone through 2 paddle attachments. I needed a new one but didn't want to spend $40+ for a OEM. It does pretty much get to the bottom, but as you can see, there's a large gap, roughly 1/4" around the sides. So, yes it will work for a 6qt, just be prepared to do a lot of scraping.

Well made! This beater is made of metal and fits my Kitchen aid 6qt bowl lift mixer that I bought at Costco. I needed a replacement after ruining mine in the dishwasher.
