Large Capacity Multi Purpose Bowl with Spinning Mechanism
I ordered this Leadbox Stainless Steel Salad Spinner, 6L Heavy-Duty Lettuce Dryer with Smooth Spin Handle, Large Vegetable Washer & Fruit Rinse Bowl, Non-Slip Base to replace a plastic spinner. This salad spinner does double duty. You can use it as you would any other stainless steel bowl. It is made of what appears to be heavy gauge stainless steel. There is a silicone coating on the bottom of the bowl that prevents it from sliding around on your countertop. The spinning mechanism and basket are made of plastic. The mechanism fits perfectly onto the top of the bowl. The basket sits above the bottom of the bowl. I've had other salad spinners where there was insufficient clearance between the bottom of the basket and the bottom of the bowl. In those situations, the water that flies off when you start spinning would fill the bottom of the bowl and impinge on the basket. This model has plenty of clearance, so that when you spin the water off of your fruit, vegetables, or salad greens, the basket stays above the level of the water that collects in the bowl. The handle spins the basket freely and smoothly and you can get a very fast rotational speed. The whirling force is more than sufficient to remove water from the items in the basket. No, your lettuce is not going to emerge from the spinner bone dry, but it will have had enough water removed so that salad dressing will adhere properly. This spinner does a good job acting first as a bowl to wash your fruits and vegetables in, and then as a spinner to get them dry. If you've never owned a spinner before, or if you're thinking about replacing one you already own, this stainless steel model is well worth a look. As with all stainless items, I suggest hand washing rather than placing in the dishwasher.

Sturdy, Spacious, and Effective!
This 6 liter Stainless Steel Salad Spinner has been super helpful with preparing salads, veggies, and even fruits in my kitchen. I've recently changed my diet/lifestyle where I'm eating more fresh produce and vegetables, hello, farmers markets! I go through a lot of greens, and this heavy-duty spinner handles it all like a pro. What I love most: Premium build quality. The stainless steel bowl and basket feel solid, way more durable than the cheap plastic ones I've used before. No more cracking or weird plastic smells, this thing holds up to daily use.Huge capacity.Perfect for family-sized salads or meals, I can fit a whole head of romaine, spinach, kale, plus extras without crowding. It even works great for rinsing and drying berries and herbs, so super versatile!Smooth spin handle & quick drying — The handle glides effortlessly with minimal effort, and it spins fast enough get off every last drop of water. No more soggy salads or wasting paper towels – greens come out crisp and ready in seconds.Another thing I like is the Non-slip base, it stays put on the counter even when I'm cranking hard. The lid locks securely, and the whole thing disassembles easily for cleaning.Good value, for it's size and stainless steel material, it's a bargain compared to other options.I've used it almost every day since it arrived – washing lettuce, spinach, even quick-rinsing grapes. Zero complaints, no water left behind, and it still looks brand new. If you're tired of flimsy plastic spinners or soggy veggies, this is the upgrade you need. Highly recommend – easy 5 stars and worth every penny!

Modern, sleek, built to last.
Not your grandmother’s salad spinner! I recently upgraded to this stainless steel model and the difference is night and day. It looks incredibly sleek sitting on my counter and feels much more "heavy-duty" than the plastic versions I've used in the past. What I Love:The Non-Slip Base: This is a game changer. It stays firmly planted on the counter even when I’m cranking it at high speeds.Design: The 6L bowl is huge, and the stainless steel finish looks great in a modern kitchen. Plus, the bowl doubles as a nice serving piece.Value: For the build quality, the price is very reasonable.A Quick Note on Function:The handle mechanism is a bit different; unlike traditional spinners that keep coasting once you stop, this one tends to stop when you stop moving the handle. It takes a second to get used to, but the drying power is still excellent.Bottom line: If you’re tired of flimsy kitchen gadgets, get this. I certainly recommend it!Would you like me to help you draft a similar review for any other kitchen gadgets, or perhaps suggest a few salad recipes to test out that 6L capacity?

Works Great
I needed another salad spinner for our vacation home, so I decided to give this one a try. I'm knocking a star off my rating because of its design, as far as the spinning mechanism goes. Once it's spinning, which is achieved by holding the knob & rotating it, if you stop rotating the knob, it stops spinning. My current salad spinner has a pump action knob that'll continue to spin, unless you press the button to stop it, which I prefer. Not a deal breaker, by any means, it's simply what I'm used to & what I prefer. Aside from that, the bowl is metal, which helps keep your lettuce cold while spinning out the water. It's also quite a large size bowl, unlike my current spinner, which I really like. It does have a pricey spending point, which I'd put it more in the range of $22 instead of the $35 price it has, but that's strictly my opinion based on its features.
