This is a beautiful and high quality salad spinner. The stainless steel makes it easy to clean and super durable. The one I had previously was plastic and it just starts to look bad and scratched up over time but I can tell that this is going to last a long while and still look really nice. Not only can you use this to rinse/clean lettuce, but also any other produce! It is very easy to use and ran smoothly. I am super happy with it!
I have had several other salad spinners that died way too soon. The problem? All of them had a plastic bowl that cracked all too soon, rendering it unusable. Enter the Nordelle Stainless Steel Salad Spinner. The bowl is stainless steel, unbreakable! The spinner itself is plastic, but I had never had an issue with the spinner; it was always the bowl that gave up. So I'm looking forward to using this for a very long time.It is easy to clean, easy to use, and dries my lettuce well. (I hate a soggy salad). I can use it with other stuff too if I wish, like small fruits (i.e., blueberries, strawberries, etc.). In this case, I can put the fruit, add the water, spin it around to wash, then pour the water out without disturbing the contents, and then spin to dry.Love it! I wish I had discovered this earlier.

This is a really cool salad spinner. It was easy to use and a lot of fun washing my blueberries and then my broccoli and making them spin around. This would be fun for kids to help was the fruits and vegetables, make them spin and spin, and then hit the stop button. There are 3 parts; the large stainless steel bowl with non-slip rubber base, the large inside plastic basket to hold the fruits and vegetables, and the lid with the spinner knob, stop button and a water pour spout. The lid and the plastic basket have notches the fit together and makes a good seal. The sturdy way the lid and basket fit together make it easy to pour out the water and not spill any of the fruits or vegetables into the sink. Great invention and makes getting your fruits and vegetables clean very easy.
We have had a Pampered Chef salad spinner for years, an all plastic version which has served us well. The only thing is that our old salad spinner is getting a little long in the tooth, and a little more wobbly.This Nordelle Stainless Steel Salad Spinner is about the same size, or a little larger, and nicer. The bowl is actually made out of stainless steel. It is what I would call moderate weight - which is a good thing, as the spinner itself gains quite a bit of momentum. It looks like and feels like a durable piece of kitchen equipment. I really like the large round knob and the rubber mat on the bottom of the bowl. This will easily clean a half a head of lettuce, with accompanying tomatoes, onions, green pepper, and kale. The only thing that didn't seem to work well in the spinner was strawberries. This might be a matter of experimentation, but I noticed that they didn't seem to fare well.I also tried this spinner with potatoes, and it worked just as well, getting all of that extra sand and grit out of the skins for delicious baked potatoes. I wouldn't overload the spinner, maybe two large potatoes at a time as a maximum.For less than $35, this is an amazing value. It would make a great wedding gift, which is what we are thinking about as we approach the holiday season. I could see no negatives in this product, and look forward to having it replace our old, plastic, salad spinner.
I’m really impressed with this Stainless Steel Salad Spinner. It dries lettuce and veggies fast and the non-slip base keeps it steady while I’m using it. I also love the instant stop feature because it gives me more control than other spinners I’ve tried. The spinner is sturdy, holds a good amount of salad, and is easy to clean.
This is a nice, well made salad spinner that I got to replace my plastic one that has seen its better day. I really like the idea of the stainless bowl as it is much healthier than plastic, but I am used to one that has holes in it for the water to drain out of the spinner and away from the lettuce so I find it kind of odd that there are no holes in this and the water has to be dumped out. I could be wrong but that seems contradictory to me. The stainless non slip bowl is handy for other things though, so I will just have to get used to it being a different style. It does hold a whole head of lettuce which is good but I'm just not that excited about it.
