Big ball handle works well and is easy to grip. Bowl has a good flat area on the bottom so is very stable.Storage capacity:Holds a lot of leaves - easily side salads for 4 or 2 person big salads.Why did you pick this product vs others?:Colour and materials. I like the green and wanted something with less plastic so chose the metal bowl.Value for money:For me it’s worth it as an unexpected bonus is I can use it as a mixing bowl! Have used it to make many cookies and doughs now. I have been shopping around for the exact salad spinner that I want, and this one did not disappoint when I added it to my cart! It is stainless steel with a rubber bottom to prevent slipping (and the moss green matches my kitchen). The spinning mechanism is incredibly smooth with a nice sized knob on top and a plate inside the bowl to allow the straining bowl to rest upon. The spinning is easily stopped with the press of a button and then there is a straining feature to drain the liquids without losing any food.The product is light weight but durable. It can be hand washed or cleaned in the dishwasher. The stainless bowl can be used to store washed food in the fridge or as a salad bowl at the table, which was my preference.I highly recommend this salad spinner!
