Gripping!

I bought these a year ago along with a different brand of scissor tongs and these are the ones! They ARE a nice, heavy-duty stainless steel and riveted with a nice, heavy duty stainless steel rivet that even after a year of pretty regular use, has not even begun to loosen up! The ends are tapered just the right amount to hold on to whatever it is you're turning w/o worrying about the dogs getting extra treats. Poor dogs. Lol. The shape of the handles is comfortable and provides good control and the silicone grips are soft and durable. They are dishwasher safe but I wash ours by hand to help preserve the silicone. I will be buying these again and if you're in the market (obviously?), you should give them a try.

These are heavy duty tongs with large comfy handles, the type you'd expect to find in a commercial kitchen. The typical failure point is usually the center hinge pin which rusts and breaks. These have hinge pins of stainless steel and should last a very long time.
