A great budget-friendly slicer and shredder that handles everyday slicing and shredding with ease.easy to clean and best thing about the slicer is it’s made of stainless steel.
It’s useful tools for kitchen, make life easier when preparing dinner for big family.Very good.
Easy to use
Cylindrical design makes food being shredded get clogged in the barrel. The blades should have been comically shaped to better allow the food to be expelled from the tool. Cheese and green peppers both clogged on the large and medium sized blades as well as the slicing blade. I would not recommend this product.
If you own a KitchenAid stand mixer and find yourself dreading the manual box grater, you need this Stainless Steel Slicer/Shredder attachment. It has completely transformed the way I prep meals.
This slicer includes 4 different slicer attachments as well as the main piece that attaches to your stand mixer, a metal piece to push food down the tube and a brush.Assembly was easy- directions are included but not necessary. I was hoping to be able to slice lettuce very fine- for a restaurant style chopped salad , but did not have success. I may try ice berg lettuce or cabbage next time.Other vegetables such as carrots sliced easily and quickly as expected.Clean up is a breeze. Each part is easily rinsed and put away. Deeper cleaning may be needed depending on the type of food you are slicing.This is something that you will find use for daily.The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5:The price point is pretty much the same as the name brand version. If I were paying for this - I would opt for the name brand one since the price is similar - or the same -and I know that the company has a great reputation and there is no reason to pay the same price for an off brand name.I would be curious to do a side by side comparison with this brand and the well known name brand.
