I've struggled for years to get my spaetzle's just right and with the right thickness and consistency of the batter (like thick pancake batter) they finally are-- as they cook evenly with the holes in the lid Works Well
Makes great Spaetzle
Good
Loved the noodles but as reported above you have to work very fast. The stainless steel gets super hot so wear gloves on both hands. Lost a lot of noodle dough as it stuck to the holed lid. My right hand was steam burned.
Worked very well but you must be quick with scraping the noodle mixture into your boiling water. It cooks on to the lid from the steam. Easy to clean the cooked on noodle though by scraping and then normal hand washing. Noodles were perfect size and much quicker than dropping from spoon or fork.
Works well, but not convinced it's a very high grade of stainless steel. Small rust spots after the first run through the dishwasher.
This tool is awesome!! Now it takes me no time at all to make spaetzle. Highly recommend
