My family loves Spaetzle!
Love it easier to use and clean than my more traditional one from Germany with the sliding dough feed.Make healthy, easy little noodles in a minute.I make a great chicken soup. At the end, using this gadget, I make the spaetzle right into the boiling soup.My housekeeper in Germany taught me how to make it: Beat eggs. Add salt. Add flour to make a loose dough. Use Speazle tool to put in boiling water. Scoop out when it rises to the surface. About a minute or less.Don’t use other liquid unless you don’t have enough eggs.

Works great!
Perfect for making spaetzle! Put it in the fridge or run an ice cube over the top prior to using to help keep the dough from sticking. Makes great spaetzle and cleans up easily.

Simplicity is the key to brilliant design
As a daughter of a Bavarian mother, I have made spaetzle all my life using a device that rides back and forth on rails over a bowl. It has always galled and snagged and needed lubrication, and the receptacle for the batter is hard to refill. This simple cover sheet made it so much faster and easier. I saw it on America’s Test Kitchen. You just pour the batter into the shallow plate over the boiling water, and use a scraper to drag the batter across the holes, working quickly until all the batter drags through the holes. What used to take more than ten minutes now takes 90 seconds. I highly recommend this much simpler way to make great dumplings. Just be sure to add nutmeg to your batter!

Perfect for Spaetzle
Works as expected. Fits over top of pot. Only downside is it gets very hot.

Much easier way to make Spaetzle than how my mother and grandmother make it
Pretty much a foolproof method and quite frankly very handy for making my favorite (pasta or dumpling) Spaetzle noodles. Much easier and far quicker than how my Austrian family did it in the old days.

Read before using
There's a bit of learning curve in holding it right, you can't just keep it stationary over top of the whole pot or else you cook the noodle batter on top of the sieve. I have to hold it partially off of the pot to release steam so it doesn't clog up the sieve with cooked noodle batter. But it's fine quality for home use. If for professional use, you might want a sturdier material, however.
