So many uses
My husband enjoys food and cooking (especially outdoors) and has gotten a lot of use out of both of these skimmers. They are larger than expected (which is a good thing) and are very sturdy and well-made. Zero rust or bending--after months of heavy use (and abuse) they look as good as they did when they arrived new.I would get them again.5 stars = exceeds expectations4 stars = meets expectations3 stars = disappointed but will use2 stars = horrible, grossly misrepresented1 star = unredeemable trash

Works as intended and it is sturdy, larger than expected great deal
Its easy to use, the smaller one fits our 8 quart pot we use, its convenient to clean. It is lightweight enough to use often. The quality feels much more stable and sturdy then the previous one it replaced. I love how it was much bigger than I expected, it helps get a lot out at once I wouldn't recommend if you often use small pots though probably less than 6 quarts.

Professional Skimmer Set
This set of two stainless steel spider skimmers is a practical addition to any kitchen, offering sturdy construction and long handles that make straining pasta, dumplings, fried foods, or vegetables both safe and efficient. The wide baskets scoop generous portions at once, while the durable stainless steel resists rust and cleans easily in the dishwasher. I appreciate that the handles are long enough to keep my hands away from hot oil or boiling water, and the hanging holes make storage simple. Overall, they feel professional grade yet affordable, perfect for everyday cooking or larger family meals.

Perfect Kitchen Tool for Big Family Meals
I didn’t realize they were going to be this huge, but I actually love that about them! The size turned out to be perfect for what we needed. My mom absolutely loves using it when she cooks her special soup in her big pot for around 30 people. It’s the perfect size to scoop out all the veggies and meat from the pot before adding the actual broth. We’ve also used them for frying plantains and small biscuits, and they work perfectly for getting everything out of the pan at once. The handle feels sturdy and comfortable to hold, even with heavier food. They’re also super easy to clean and don’t feel flimsy at all.Honestly, if you cook in big batches or make soups, stews, or fried foods, these are a must-have. I’m really happy with them because they’re great quality and super practical.

Large and solid!
These are some solid spiders.I've had skimmers, spiders, and handheld fry basket-type items in the past, and I have to say that these are by far the sturdiest and most solid metal ones I've ever tried. Not only are they solid and sturdy, but they're also quite easy to clean. The metal netting is so unmovable that there's very little opportunity for grease to get caught in any crevices, which would normally lead to a difficult clean. This design should also help prevent rusting. Both are quite large, though not excessively so. I love that it comes with two sizes. At first, this might seem unnecessary, but once you get a feel for how big they are, you realize that you likely do need the smaller option that's included.Great price, great quality, easy to clean, hard to break, hard to rust, and huge—they promise to be professional grade, and they truly do feel as if they are.

Large-Batch Cooking
When I bought them I didn’t realize they’d be so big - note the measurements before you buy!Still, as other reviews have also noted, these skimmers are pretty useful for managing large batches of fried foods, soups or stews. I really like that they’re metal and not plastic. And the handle is well made, which you don’t always see with metal utensils.

Great skimmer for frying at home
These stainless steel skimmers are made well. They’re shipped in a bag, and then each skimmer is individually wrapped inside that bag.The “bars” on the skimmer are sturdy, they don’t bend and move around like cheap ones do.Having two different sizes is awesome. The larger one is a bit too big for the sauce pan we usually fry in, so the smaller one fits perfectly. The larger one would be good for a bigger sauce pan, or for getting noodles out of a spaghetti pan. They’re not too excessively large. I have a normal cutting knife for scale. The handle feels nice and sturdy in your hand when using it. They’re easy to clean due to them being stainless steel. If you deep fry a lot at home, you need these! It’s easier to use than a pair of tongs.
