    Nice stainles mixing accessories.

    These mixer tools fit the mixer drive as expected. However, the dough hook was a bit too long and hit the bottom of the bowl when turning. I had to grind the tip down about an eighth of an inch to cure the issue. Overall these fit and worked as expected.

    Paint me Surprised

    This is a nice set of mixing attachments that fit my 1972 Hobart made Model K5-A KitchenAid lift bowl mixer. I like them, for the most part, better than the originals for the following:A. They are stainless steel. The originals (hook and paddle) are painted aluminum. The paint is fine on mine (mine is well calibrated) but I've seen that paint chip off others and I don't like eating paint.B. Quality of the joints and ease of attachment is equal.C. I like the dough hook better – that's why I ordered 'um.A couple issues:A. Paddle, whip and hook of this set are all higher off the bottom of the bowl. It makes no difference for the dough hook, but paddle and whip should be about 1/8" off of the bottom of the bowl. These new attachments are a little more than a quarter inch off the bottom of the bowl. Originals are 1/8". That can be re-calibrated though and I will do so.B. The whip is substantially wider than the original. In fact, it scrapes the side of the bowl (See Video). I think the original probably got a little narrower over the years - but I don't believe it ever scraped. I'm thinking scraping the sides is a good thing - to clear the sides. For now I like it - I still have the old one also.C. The dough hook is a little more out of balance at high speeds, But mixing dough does not require high speeds. I believe Hobart recommended to keep it below 3 while mixing dough. Not a serious issue for meMy bowl is a hair shy of 7 inches from base to top and the inside diameter is 8 inches.I like these better than the originals - and I like the originals. Paint me surprised - I'm going to call this excellent set of K5-A attachments - 7 Super Novas.~ Thanks for Reading – Have an Incredible Life! ~

    Nice materials but doesn't fit K5SS 6QT mixer

    even though the description says it fits the K5SS 6QT it does not. The beater is to small and there is a huge gap (factory beater has perfect dime gap) so it doesn't mix stuff. Then the Wisk is so big that it cant turn and it scraps if you raise the bowl. the dough hook works but there are not clearance requirements like the other 2 so factory hook still works better. Really bummed cause the materials its made out of looked good.

    Heavy-duty replacements, better than new

    The included accessories with our mixer were ceramic coated and started to chip after only a few years of use. These are definitely an upgrade and we love that they are stainless steel.     Replacement attachments

    The paddle attachment that came with my stand mixer starting having issues with the enamel chipping off. I've had the thing at least 20 years so I decided it was time to replace.I like that these are stainless steel so I dont have to worry about chipping enamel.
