The Perfect Stovetop Tea Kettle for Our Daily Ritual
My wife and I are serious about our tea routine—nothing beats starting the day with a fresh pot brewed just right. This stainless steel kettle has become our new favorite for exactly that. At 3.1 quarts, it's got plenty of capacity for two of us (or more if friends drop by), and the build quality feels solid: heavy-gauge stainless that heats evenly and doesn't impart any metallic taste. What makes it stand out is the removable infuser basket. We can use it straight-up to boil water quickly on our gas stove (works great on induction too), or pop the infuser in to steep loose-leaf tea right in the pot—no need for a separate teapot. The infuser is generous-sized, holds a good amount of leaves, and lifts out easily for cleaning. We've been using it mostly with black and herbal blends, and the flavor comes through beautifully without any bitterness from over-steeping.The spout pours smoothly with no dribbling, the handle stays cool even when the kettle's full and hot, and the whistle is clear but not obnoxiously loud. Cleanup is simple—rinse the infuser, wipe the inside, and it's good to go. It looks sleek on the stove too, with that classic stainless shine that matches our kitchen. If you and your partner (or family) love making a proper pot of tea and want something versatile, durable, and easy to use on any stovetop, this kettle is a wonderful addition to the ritual.

5 quart tea kettle
The 5 quart size tea kettle is perfect for a large family. You can simply boil water, use the infuser for tea bags or loose tea. I like the infuser to make hibiscus tea. I like the infuser option to make chai or milk tea. You can use the tea kettle to make soup the infuser comes in handy for collagen soup. I haven’t noticed any rust, but I make sure to wash it and dry it right after. I’ve had no issues with heat affecting the handle, but I keep the handle upright. The kettle is medium weight and looks great. Kettle seems good quality and durable, not your cheap aluminum kettle. Its priced well under $44 considering its large size.

Functional but flawed handle
The main drawback is the handle: there’s a plastic seam that’s noticeably rougher and sharper than the rest. It won’t cut you, but at this price point it feels like an avoidable finishing issue. Aside from that detail, the build quality is solid. The pot has a good weight, and the handle design is practical: it stays upright when pouring but folds down neatly to the side for easier storage. The removable infuser is a real highlight. I use a lot of loose tea leaves, and it makes both brewing and cleanup effortless. Heat performance is also excellent; it boils quickly on an induction stovetop. It's stainless steel so cleaning is simple.

Stainless Steel Tea Kettle Pot with Strainer
When I first unpacked this kettle, it immediately felt solid and well made. The stainless steel body has a clean, polished look and doesn’t feel flimsy, and the removable mesh infuser fits neatly inside and seems fine enough for loose leaf tea while still being easy to clean. The lid seals well, and the handle feels sturdy and comfortable when pouring. The only thing to note is the size, it’s larger than I expected. For one or two people, a smaller size might be more practical, but this capacity works well if you’re making tea or hot water for multiple people at once. Overall, it functions as expected and is a good option if you want a durable kettle with a built-in infuser and enough capacity for more than just a couple of servings.

Beautiful stainless steel tea kettle
I got 3.1qt which holds 8cups of water. As you can see where I showed 8cups of water fills just above the first set of holes. 10 cups would cover the second set of holes and cause spitting of hot water. So 8cups safely. This is a good quality stainless steel tea kettle. This is a first for me. I do feel the pressure in my arm between my wrist and elbow as I pour when it’s filled 8cups. It does help to assist pour with a second hand and an oven mitt. Easy to clean, I have hard water, I soaked it in vinegar and water overnight and washed with a soft sponge and dish soap. I let it air dry the first time and you can see the water spots, so I opted to towel dry after that. No big deal. Looks much nicer. Looks beautiful. Love the wide mouth opening for both the pot and the tea strainer. Great value for the cost.
