The finish on these is pretty nice. The edge is sharp and has worked great for steak, chicken, and pork. The grip is comfortable and the weight and balance are great, but we have found them to become slippery if your hand is wet or has any kind of grease like fat or butter on it.
I really like these steak knives. They feel solid and comfortable in the hand, and they look great. They are steel which makes them attracted to magnets if you store knives on a magnet, and I personally like the black finish because it stands out from my regular silverware (because I store them with regular cutlery.) It makes it easy to grab the right knife from the drawer.I tested them on a cut of pork I had in the fridge, and they sliced through it effortlessly. Sharp, functional, and good-looking. Five stars from me.
