A Beautiful Tumbler That’s Actually Well Made
TL;DRAdorable, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely functional. This tumbler keeps drinks hot without burning your mouth and seals better than expected.Value RatingValue: 4.5 out of 5 stars. At just under $28, this feels very fairly priced for the quality. Comparable insulated tumblers often cost more and still miss details like a comfortable plastic lid, a secure silicone seal, or a non-slip base. You’re paying a little extra for the design, but the construction backs it up, which makes the price feel justified.SpecificationsBrand: Steel Mill & Co.Material: Stainless steelColor: WildflowersCapacity: 20 ozStyle: ClassicFeatures: Double-wall insulation, non-slip base, sliding acrylic lid with silicone sealsNot only is this adorable and exactly my style, but it’s also legitimately well made. I love that it matches the porcelain vase I already own in the same wildflower design, but what surprised me most was the functionality. I care a lot about keeping hot drinks hot, especially coffee and tea, and this does that well. The lid is one of my favorite parts. It’s plastic, so you don’t burn your mouth while drinking, which is something I’ve experienced with other stainless tumblers (and yes, that’s as unpleasant as it sounds). The lid also has a silicone rim that keeps it firmly in place, and the seal underneath is silicone as well, so nothing leaks.Another reviewer mentioned flipping theirs upside down and only getting a few drops out. I tried the same thing with mine and couldn’t get a single drop to come out, even shaking it pretty aggressively. I plan on leaving a video because the seal really is that good. I also appreciate the rubberized base, which keeps it from sliding around on desks or tables.I originally bought this with the intention of saving it as a gift, but unfortunately it was made too well, so now it’s mine.
