A+ quality and beautiful dishes!
The dishes arrived quickly, well packaged and protected with no cracks or chips. They are beautiful looking and match the exact description posted of the item. The textured detail in each dish is impeccable, and they appear super clean. Each dish is marked with a beautiful logo stamp on the bottom, which gives it an expensive feel. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase, and in the future will be purchasing Stone Lain products from Amazon, as gifts for my family and friends.

I REALLY Like These Dishes Despite a Few Flaws in the Dinner Plates
I was excited that my new Stone Lain Virtuo dinnerware arrived ahead of schedule and was packaged very well. I immediately opened the box and put them in my dishwasher so that we could use them that night. The salad plates and soup/cereal bowls fit easily in the dishwasher; the dinner plates were a tight fit so I opted to wash them by hand. Our dishwasher is a name brand but we have had it for about 16 years, so I was thinking maybe the slats (spaced 1 1/2 inches apart) are narrower than new models? I will look into this for future reference. The dinner plates are just shy of 1 1/2 inches deep.As I washed the dinner plates by hand, I noticed there were some flaws in 3 of the 4 plates. Three of plates had a mottled, uneven texture along the inner and outer edges. The biggest flaws were in 2 of them: one had a divot (small hole) under the finish, and the other had rough scraped edge about an inch long, again under the glaze, as noted in the pics.My husband wasn't convinced we needed new dishes until I mentioned that I wasn't sure if our old set had lead--and these dishes were safe. So, out with the old and in with the new! We used our new dishes and he said "they're fine." (High praise coming from him.) I like that these dinner plates hold more food "in" the plate vs flat plates. I used a bowl for his side salad and it held a generous amount. These are awesome soup bowls, easily holding 16 oz while allowing an inch of space to the rim. After the meal the dishes still looked good--no knife marks despite his use of a sharp and serrated steak knife.These dishes are a soft white color--not a bright white--but easily fit in with bright white linens. They can be used in a casual setting or a more dressy one. I appreciate that Stone and Lain advertise that they stand by their products. I quote: "We will happily and conveniently replace any Stone Lain product that is flawed, damaged, or unsatisfactory within 30 days of purchase in the United States. And we will do so with a smile." Reading that made ME smile because I REALLY like these dishes and will be ordering another set of 12, so that we will have 8 place settings. I do recommend these dishes, and had the dinner plates not had some flaws, I would have rated this set a 5 star.

Beautiful Dishes
Beautiful dishes came packaged well to protect from chipping. The dishes are even nicer than they look in the pictures, the texture and design feels way more expensive than what I paid.
