This dinnerware set is gorgeous. And not just pretty—it’s heavy. The kind of heavy that makes you feel like you’re eating off something fancy, not flimsy. It’s also microwave-safe, which is essential in my house because reheating leftovers is practically a hobby. With how solid these feel, they should last for many years… assuming I don’t launch one into the sink by accident.I love that these plates aren’t the usual “round and boring.” They look modern and classy, like something you’d see in a restaurant that serves food on wooden boards and calls it rustic. And bless the manufacturer for not including cups and saucers. I never use them, and they just sit in the cabinet collecting dust and judgment.The dinner and salad plates are great sizes, and the bowls are big enough for cereal or a serious serving of chili. (I tested that last part thoroughly.)My only teeny-tiny complaint—which might be worth deducting a quarter of a star, if fractional stars were allowed—is that two of the dinner plates didn’t get quite as much glaze on the rim. It’s not a big deal, but some people might care. I attached a photo of a fully glazed plate and one with the “diet glaze” so you can decide for yourself.Fortunately, it’s mostly just my husband and me using them, so we’re not exactly running a Michelin-star operation here. LOL

Stylish Functionality
I really love these dishes. They do everything one expects a dish to do in the twenty first century. They hold food, they tolerate microwaving and trips through the dishwasher. The real story is the unique styling of this set. They have good weight but not are "heavy". They are all a little asymmetrical in the best and most fun ways! I love style that looks like it wasn't trying to be stylish and this set nails that vibe perfectly, in my opinion. Just the light accent of the colored glaze around the edges provide a nice pop and also lets the eye know they ARE finished, not thrown in the kiln half done. I was not familiar with this brand before trying this set, but I am impressed with the quality and would definitely buy more of their ware in the future. I haven't had these very long, but from the limited use so far, they seem to be holding up beautifully and I expect them to pass the test of time.One thing I think I should mention for my texture sensitive friends out there: The glaze accent is smooth. The exterior of the plates and bowls have a little texture though..not rough like sandpaper, but not smooth either. I don't mind it, but I know that this matters for certain people and I thought it should be mentioned.
