Works great
I had an older style and different brand that was leaking. I love that this one brews straight down and into the container. I like that the carafe is glass and not plastic. The color is also really nice! I have brewed a half dozen pots of tea and the taste is perfect. Highly recommend.

3qts when brim full
I've been trying to find a tea maker with a glass pitcher that has as much capacity as the old Mr Coffee 3 qt. The Mr Coffee pitcher actually holds 3qts with the tea line below the yellow lid. This one holds 3qts when it is filled to the rim. The Wirsh holds maybe a cup less, but is shorter for storage. I wound up keeping the Wirsh for the convenience of storage, and because it swings the water arm out of the way automatically when you open the lid.

Glass pitcher, doesn’t stain
I bought this because it was blue and the pitcher was glass. I also like it because it doesn’t “spit and sputter” when it’s almost done brewing. I wish the brew basket was a little bigger because I like to use the longest steep setting and there’s not a lot of room to hold the tea as it steeps

3 QT Ice Tea Maker with Glass Pitcher
Cute and works well. A little nervous about the glass pitcher. It’s thin and I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to break it. However, it’s much appreciated and that’s why I bought this.

Cute, but missed the mark.
I wish I could explain how excited I was to come across this Retro Iced Tea/Iced Coffee machine!! Unfortunately it fell a bit short for me. First, the item did arrived quickly and it was well packaged. The item itself feels really lightweight, which isn't necessarily a great thing when considering a kitchen appliance. It has a plastic build with a hollow feel. The brewer is functional, but it does rather the same as what I can already do with my current keurig coffee maker. Seems a bit redundant to have two appliances on the countertop that do the same exact thing. If you're going to brew hot and pour over ice, a regular coffee maker works too. I didn't notice any leakage or brewing issues. But overall I think this item is cute and if you're looking more for a sense of decoration with a moderate sense of functionality, this might work. But all in all, for the price tag I struggle to be able to recommend it. I've seen much better features on much more affordable products. Unfortunately this one was a miss for me. But it is really cute.

Fun Retro Iced Tea Maker with Great Flavor
I picked this up because I liked the idea of brewing tea directly into a glass carafe, and I’ll say right away—the taste is excellent. Brewing straight into glass really does make a difference, and I also enjoy how it looks on the counter. The retro design is fun without being over the top, and it fits nicely into my kitchen setup.Functionally, it does what it promises. The adjustable brew strength lets me dial in how strong I want my tea, and the removable filter works well with loose leaf tea, which is a big plus for me. Brewing is quick—very similar to making coffee—and I haven’t had any leaking or brewing issues so far.

Feels more like a cute prop than a real appliance.
I wanted to like this iced tea and coffee maker. The style pulled me in and the idea sounded convenient, but using it in real life brought me right back down to earth. The biggest problem is the ice requirement. That pitcher has an ice line that absolutely eats through a whole bag, and unless you keep your freezer stocked like a convenience store, it just is not practical. It brews hot tea and coffee fine. The flavor comes through and the adjustable strength dial works the way it should, but everything that makes iced coffee or iced tea iced still ends up being done the old regular way. You are basically making hot drinks and then drowning them in ice you probably do not have on hand. The build quality also hit me hard. It feels light and hollow in a way that reminds me of a plastic bathroom trash bin, not a kitchen appliance that costs this much. The pitcher is nice to look at, but the machine itself feels flimsy every time I pick it up or move it. For this price I expected sturdier materials, better weight, and a more solid feel overall. Function-wise it is fine as a basic brewer, but you do not need a whole countertop appliance for something a kettle or coffee maker already does. I walked away feeling like it tries to look retro to make up for how cheaply it is made.I am giving it two stars because it does work for brewing, but I would not recommend it unless it drops down to fifteen bucks or less. It is just not worth full price, and I do not want other people getting their hopes up the way I did only to realize it is basically extra steps for the same results you already get in your kitchen.Hope this helps! =)
