Amazing pan, wipes, clean with a paper towel!
My experience with this pan has been incredible. The reason is I'm actually a terrible cook and I usually burn everything I try to cook because I crank up the heat. I like some things burnt like broccoli and roast beef. But mostly I'm just a lazy cook. I just want everything done fast. What I do is I cook something fast on high heat, turn it off and then I have a pan that I have to scrape forever to clean.I studied all the pans on Amazon made of titanium because I saw a commercial about some really expensive pans that were titanium, so I went on Amazon to compare. I did not want aluminum because I knew I would burn that and never be able to clean that kind of pan so I want stainless steel.Settled on this one because I felt like it was big enough to cook pretty much anything. It's deep enough where I could also boil water to cook something like mac & cheese.I live alone and I'm trying to be minimalist in the kitchen, so I threw out my only skillet that I've been cooking on for years. It was a copper, "diamond coated", pan that I bought at a discount large retailer years ago., and it was also aluminum , which I burned and could never clean it thoroughly or properly.NOW, I've had this amazing new pan about one to two weeks now and I've cooked everything I normally cook on it, e.g., steaks, hamburgers, grilled potatoes, grilled vegetables, eggs, mac & cheese, grilled cheese, and bacon. My dream was to cook an omelette that wasn't burned and broken up. A few days ago I did just that: I scrambled eggs mixed with some cream. I put it in the pan with a little butter and within a few minutes it was ready to turn over, so I did. It was the most perfect omelette I've ever seen in my life. One thing I've always done is use a little oil or butter to cook (even with nonstick pants ), with so I did an experiment with the omelette. It was perfect with a little bit of butter. It slipped right into a flip when I flipped it using the pan handle to maneuver a flip with no spatula. Then I tried a few days later without any oil or butter. So, I made an omelette which was again perfect, and clean and beautiful looking but it looked like I needed just a little bit of something like oil or butter so I added that, lifted the edges and flipped it with a spatula. I could lift the edges of it without it sticking without butter, but when I got to the middle part, it wanted to stick a little bit so that was my experiment. When I cleaned this pan, it cleans with just a wipe of a paper towel. It needs no scrubbing at all. Yesterday I made some broccoli where I cut them in half and place them cut side down onto the pan with a little butter and I tried as hard as I could to burn them because they taste better that way in my opinion. They were beautiful. They came out really well cooked/burnt almost on the side that I wanted cooked and even though I burned them as hard as I could, (and they were delicious), the pan just wiped clean with a paper towel very easily.Another thing I like to burn is roast beef so that I can make burnt ends, but I just can't burn them on this pan so I have to use the toaster oven to burn roast beef. Just doesn't allow me to burn roast beef, just as an FYI.Cleaning this pan is a breeze; no residue or burnt food stuck to this pan even with a non-cook like me I recommend this pan to anybody who can cook or not cook. I love this pan and apparently it loves me back.
