Definitely a good knife!
This is such an amazing knife! I love to cook and I have to say it's just amazing. It would make a great gift for someone that loves to cook. From the start it comes in a really nice package. The knife itself cuts flawlessly. I'm telling you it cuts. Another thing that I like about the knife is that it's a not super light it's got some weight to it which helps keep control when you're trying to cut stuff. I highly recommend this. I wanted to do an update on this knife.. it's been a few months now that I have had it and it's still cuts so good. Something to note my daughter used it to cut wood and it didn't get destroyed it's still cutting like it did they say it arrived to my house. I think that's awesome. I thought my daughter ruined my knife. I just love it!

Decent knife...not quite professional grade
The Sunly 8 Inch Chef knife is a well made and affordable option for a home kitchen. The edge stays pretty sharp and at 8 inches, does just about whatever you need to in the kitchen. Great for prepping veggies and many cuts of meat. This is a great utility knife that can get a lot of use doing whatever you need. Knife has good balance and fits nicely in the hand. I would not agree it is professional quality, but it'll do the job in any home kitchen...and being really honest not many home cooks need or would even benefit from a $200 blade (translation: the steel is not cheap, but I would not put in the same conversation with Tojiro or Global type knives).
