Beautiful and very sharp. Feels good in my hand. Only concern I have is that the handle is a bit slippery particularly if you're hands are wet. This is the fourth VG10 knife I've bought, there aren't many 6 inch chef's knives in VG10 so this doesn't quite match the look of my other knives, but other than being slippery I like this one lot.

This knife is likely not real Damascus steel, but rather laser etched. That said, at this price, the knife is very good looking, and very well balanced. I like this chef's knife when my 8" knife is too large. The handle is nice, and well molded. There are no gaps or edges. The full bolster creates a nice heavy handle that balances the blade nicely, for a great feel.I had this knife in my watch list, and when a Flash deal came up at 30% off, I grabbed it!

Dull

I got this knife because my Shun knives, which I've been using and sharpening for about 15 years were just not cutting it anymore, literally. It was hard work to slice through almost anything. So I get this knife and right out of the box, I try to slice an apple and guess what? It's much duller than my old Shun knives. It certainly isn't worth the $49.99 I paid for it on sale so I returned it. You might be interested to know it was made in China and won't stay on a magnetic bar.
