Non-serrated, super sharp

> Sunnecko Damascus Steak Knife Set Non Serrated, Japanese VG10 Stainless Steel Steak Knives (~$58 for 2)The Good: These are actual Damascus, not printed or etched. The core metal is a fairly hard steel and holds a very keen edge. Cutting through meat gives a very clean cut, not shredded like serrated knives cause. The outer layers give a beautiful pattern, unique to every knife. It arrived fully sharpened.The Bad: VG10 is a harder steel that's more difficult to sharpen, although it holds an edge much longer.Recommended. I love mine.For sharpening, 350 grit works well, followed by 1200-2000 grit, then a few strokes on a ceramic steel or strop. (I would never use a normal steel on these as it'll just tear up the edge.)

Gorgeous knives with real damascus layered metal, not some cheap laser etched graphics! Steel used is not great though as they have dulled way faster than they should have. Far from perfect but a solid 4 stars...
