A perfect fit for my doggie bar! Wish they came with black lids.
I was looking for a very specific size container with a specific type of access so that I could use them in my doggie bar to store the frequently given treats to my dogs. These containers work perfectly for my application. I was worried that the plastic was going to arrive cracked or be cracked upon assembly however that wasn't the case everything came together very easily without undo tension on the plastic and I'm just really careful not to try to force clasps if the lids aren't seated perfectly I need to make sure that I get the lids seated correctly before I try to clasp them. They fit perfectly where I wanted them and I'm really happy with the overall appearance other than the fact that they're the wrong color. I wish they offered these in black plastic instead of white plastic but I'll probably end up crying to use black vinyl overlay on these to make them look aesthetically like a better match. So only downside was the color options available. I can see how low I'm getting on my dog treats without opening the containers. The storage capacity is exceptional, I can get over 2 months worth of treats in a container for my four dogs. I don't believe these have any type of a watertight seal, however it feels like it is going to be good enough to prevent things from getting stale prematurely as long as I close the flip top completely. They are pretty easy to take apart to fill and put back together and therefore I think they'll be easy enough to clean but I don't think I'll be putting these in the dishwasher as they aren't the kind of plastic that I think would be particularly durable in the bottom rack of my dishwasher, I think it would be too hot for it. The wheels work really nice to pull them out easily without scratching the surface of the doggie bar. And it really looks like they were custom fit for this space so I'm glad that I took the time to find something that was the dimensions I needed.
