Well made, but for one detail..
It's well made, but the wooden handle is not secured.. for the money, it's fine though. I'll just drill a hole and screw it together. A fringe benefit is, it allows me to add a longer handle if I want.

Only thing I do not like about this product is that the handle, no matter how far I pound it in, will not stay put. It’s a pretty solid wok spatula & should last a lifetime...
I love it. I use it all the time. Very sturdy piece. I was using a rather flimsy spatula that came with a wok that would flex and throw food everywhere. This thing is great and if you need to remove excess liquid from the walk you can scoop it up with this and get it out. Handle comes off after extended periods of non-use. All you need to do is put it back in and run it under water and it tightens right up! Could not be happier with my purchase
Wooden handle fell off in first hand washing- seemed like it was attached with dot school glue.
This is a great wok spatula! Not sure why others have had issues with the wood handle coming out. Have not had an issue. All you need to do is clean the metal parts pull the wood handle out oil it, put it back together, and place in the oven at 250 for about 20 min. Remove it and give the wood handy a tap on the counter. This will seat the handle securely.
I don't think I'll replace item right away because of two negatives, but had I known I probably wouldn't have bought this spatula.1) The wooden handle is not permanently affixed to the metal scoop, so they separate. I've never have them separate during cooking, so that's good - the two pieces do fit tightly together. On the plus side though is separating the parts makes the spatula fit more easily into a drawer.2) The upturned back and edges of the paddle are a hinderance during cooking Ginger, garlic, green onions, sauce, etc. heavily collect along the back and edges during cooking. I keep a small wooden utensil handy when cooking to wipe the spatula off back into the wok. I had a spatula years ago that did not have the upturned edges that was far superior and easier to use.
Thick gauge stainless that is welded and not just rolled. Smooth wood handle is easy to remove and easy to secure. Professional level tool.
