Nice Replacement For The Red Ball/Blue Star Ones

I think we all, at one time or another, used the plastic plates and bowls that Target and Walmart sell for 50 cents, or whatever it is now. These are much thicker and sturdier. They also seem to resist the knife cuts better too. I also appreciate the higher lips on them, so sauces have a better chance of remaining on the plate. Bottom rack dishwasher safe. I'm using 8 right now, and saving the other 8 for replacements, although I don't imagine having to do that anytime soon.

And we wanted some plates that we didn't need a crane to lift! The heavy pottery is pretty but heavy. And these are nice plastic plates. They're heavier than the plastic picnic type plates and quite usable for everyday use. The customer service from this company was lovely. I ask a question, and they answered it within 5 hours. I asked a repeat question based on their answer and it was on my page this morning. Very impressed. These are microwavable and dishwasher safe. It says that in the description but it does not say it on the bottom of the plate, hence my question to the seller. Highly recommend the plates and the seller.

Sturdy party plates

I bought these for a backyard pig roast for 20 people. Paper plates just weren’t going to be sturdy enough. These were awesome! They look great and are very sturdy. I like the color, kind of like a light taupe or oatmeal, and I love the shape and size. They have a nice lip or edge which holds food in nicely in case plates get tipped or guests get tipsy. They just feel nice in the hand, and many of our guests stood around and ate (hard to do with flimsy paper plates). They wash easily by hand and are dishwasher safe - I did both and they came out of the dishwasher in perfect shape! I am very impressed with these. I’m packing them up to have on hand for the next big gathering/holiday, but I might keep a few handy for everyday use. These are a great and inexpensive level up from paper plates. I don’t like using paper plates, for many reasons, but now I don’t have to ever again. Very happy with this purchase. These would also be great for campers, RV’ers, and for poolside entertaining. Love these wheat straw plates.
