Dangerous design, in my opinion.

In my 45 years of life I have never cut myself with a knife. Not cooking, not working in the yard or on the house, and not even with my hobbyist woodworking.The very first time I used this meat cutter I sliced my pointer finger to the bone. Got about half-way through cutting a pound of london broil for jerky meat using the 2mm setting. You have to saw decently hard at 2mm to cut through the meat, and eventually the suction cup released from counter and the whole thing slid forward until I stopped it, with my finger.So i'm going to toss it and do what I should have done to begin with and buy a deli meat slicer.

This slicer allowed me to easily dice meat for street tacos and anything else I needed. It used to be tedious slicing the meat, this is effortless. Only downside is the meat holder is pretty small, so you have to cut them in smaller chunks to fit it in. Otherwise great
