Overall I think this is a great product. It takes a minute to understand how to change from slicing to dicing and the combination of turning two different knobs or not. My one recommendation would be that they make the directions clearer. But, it’s not that difficult, and so much easier and faster than trying to slice with a knife. I would recommend.

Very effective and quick
The slicer is really effective! The blades are very sharp but the chute makes it safe . It completely disassembles for cleaning. However, once you pull out the main sled from the housing you need to be very careful with the exposed blade. I slice very thin ginger and celery very quickly. Note that you are limited by the size of the chute.

I have owned this for several years, now, and figured that I ought to let everyone know how wonderful this thing is. Honestly, my favorite use is French fries. I pop in a few potatoes, rinse, dry, and throw them in the fry pappy!
