These bowls are so cute. I bought them to make French onion soup and they performed wonderfully. Now we use them as normal soup bowls and they stack nicely. They are slightly larger than standard soup bowls and very durable. It’s a plus they are dishwasher safe
These bowls are perfect. A quality weight and design. I am buying a second set for my MIL as she keeps stealing mine lol they do great in the dishwasher and the painted designs have held up. The color is true to order and size is great for any stew or chili.
I purchases these specifically for making French Onion Soup but they can certainly be used for any food that is served well in bowl. The size is quite generous, which may make them not such a good choice for people who like smaller servings. In order to place the toast and cheese on top of the soup for optimum broiling, the bowl has to be filled to the top. That makes for a lot of onion soup. Fortunately, we live onion soup but if you want a typical restaurant serving, I recommend going with a smaller size bowl.That being said, the bowls are absolutely beautiful, can easily take the high heat of the oven and broiler and clean up well in the dishwasher. Although they have handles on the sides, they get hot if heated in the oven. You definitely have to use protection when taking them out and if you need to touch them while eating. Obviously, that is not necessary when the bowl isn’t heated in the oven. 10 out of 10!!!
Love these! I bought these for French onion soup and they are perfect! Easy clean up, worked well in the oven and looked super cute. I think they are the perfect soup bowl size.
Bought these as a gift for a friend who needed soup bowls. She was very happy when she opened the box. They are very classic looking and would look really stunning on a dressed table or a kitchen counter, and they have handles. They are deep and could easily handle soup or salads, and are oven safe.
I ordered these for My Son that loves Ramen noodles. Well, the square still does not fit perfectly. It is nice to have the handles so that he doesn’t burn his hands when he gets the bowl of the microwave. These are also very nice looking and good quality I can tell that these will last us a while, beautiful and functional.
This soup bowl set is the best. The bowls are nice looking, perfect size, good quality. Dishwasher safe.
